 2019 MPAQ Plumbing and Gas Industry Awards
Winners of the ELGAS 2019 MPAQ Queensland Plumbing and Gas Industry award - Type B Gas install of the year.
James Giles Plumbing has just won the Elgas Commercial Type B Gas Installation of the Year award at the 2019 Plumbing and Gas Industry Awards, held on Friday 19 July at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Brisbane!

For the fifth year in a row the James Giles Plumbing team have won the Elgas Commercial Type B Gas Installation of the Year Award. 
This amazing effort now equals them with the longest winning streak of any award, in the 20 year awards history!


 2018 MPAQ Plumbing and Gas Industry Awards

Winners of the ELGAS 2018 MPAQ Queensland Plumbing and Gas Industry award - Type B Gas install of the year. 
James Giles Plumbing won the Elgas Commercial Type B Gas Installation of the Year award at the 2018 Plumbing and Gas Industry Awards, held on Friday 20 July at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Brisbane.This is the fourth consecutive year that James Giles Plumbing have taken out a top gas installation award.

This year James Giles Plumbing have completed a number of large industrial Natural and L.P. Gas projects across Queensland & NSW; however, James Giles Plumbing has won this award for their new gas system installation at Bushman Tanks. The installation was a clear winner with all the criteria being met and exceeded. Not only was it a complex new installation, but the appliances had to be dismantled, relocated, rebuilt with large modifications and the gas burners and valve sets converted to suit LPG from Natural Gas.

2018 QGA Queensland Gas Industry Awards

The QGA in its inaugural year, were excited to announce that on Friday the 31st August they recognised the outstanding achievements of those involved in the Queensland Gas Industry. 
The Team at James Giles Plumbing were finalists for 6 awards on the night and won a stunning 3 of those awards with one of the Major awards - The gas safety person of the year award going to Justin Giles. 

2017 MPAQ Plumbing and Gas Industry Awards

Winners of the 2017 MPAQ Queensland Plumbing and Gas Industry award QGA - Best Type B Gas install of the year. 

For the third year in a row, James Giles Plumbing has claimed a major, prestigious gas award. We took top honours to claim The QGA Industrial Type B Gas Installation of the Year at the 2017 Plumbing and Gas Industry Awards, held in July 2017. James Giles Plumbing also claimed runner-up at the awards in the most innovative plumbing or gas product of the year. 
This award was awarded for the design, construction and commissioning of an extremely large and complex gas operating plant including the type b gas system and appliances installed at Knauf Plaster Board in Queensland, incorporating some of the latest and best gas and control technology in the world. 

2016 MPAQ Plumbing and Gas Industry Awards

Winners of the 2016 MPAQ Queensland Plumbing and Gas Industry award QGA - Best Commercial & Industrial Gas installation the year. 

James Giles Plumbing has won the prestigious QGA Commercial and Industrial Gas Installation of the Year award for the second year in a row at the 2016 Plumbing and Gas Industry Awards, held on Friday the 22 of July at the Royal International Convention Centre, Brisbane. Congratulations to all the team at James Giles Plumbing on winning the 2016 QGA Commercial and Industrial Gas Installation of the Year! 
This award was awarded for the design, construction and commissioning of a complex type b gas system and type b drying appliance incorporating state of the art new control technology at 2PH and Prestige packing. 

2015 MPAQ Plumbing and Gas Industry Awards

Winners of the 2015 MPAQ Queensland Plumbing and Gas Industry award QGA - Best Commercial & Industrial Gas installation the year. 

James Giles Plumbing won the QGA Commercial & Industrial Gas Installation of the Year award at the 2015 Plumbing and Gas Industry Awards.
This award was awarded for the design, construction and commissioning of a large and complex gas system including the installation and commissioning of 7 large type b appliances, linked to the building management system and the installation of a large LPG tank system at LDC Ginning.

2015 South Burnett Business Excellence Awards

The 2015 South Burnett Business Excellence Awards. 
The final year for the business awards seen a fantastic result for the team at James Giles Plumbing being involved in the finals for three awards including business of the year. 
The team also took out the Young Business Owner/Operators award again for the second year in a row. 

2014 South Burnett Business Excellence Awards

In 2014 the team at James Giles Plumbing took out the Young Business Owner/Operator/s of the year. 

2016 WorldSkills Australia 


Michael Giles, from James Giles Plumbing, was selected in the Queensland Team to compete at the WorldSkills Australia Challenge in 2016. Michael was the wide bay representative in the 3-man Queensland Plumbing and Gas team. The 2016 WorldSkills Australia National Competition was held from 6-8 October at Melbourne Showgrounds. The event is for young apprentices and journeymen aged 16-24 years old and has teams from all states competing in 60 different trades and skills. WorldSkills challenge competitions operate on a two year cycle. Regional Competitions flow into National Competitions and National Competition winners, if eligible, can become members of the Skillaroos team. 

2014 TAFE QUEENSLAND'S South West Awards

In 2014, Micheal Giles, apprentice from James Giles Plumbing, was awarded TAFE QUEENSLANDS South West 2014 outstanding vocational student of the year, out of ALL apprentices and Trainees of all trades.
